Donating Options

There are many ways to contribute to IYG

Cash Donations:
Donations can be made through this website using PayPal or a credit card.

Cash, checks and credit cards can also be processed by our office at IYG and should be mailed to the IYG Post Office Box (PO Box 20716, Indianapolis, IN 46220).

Monthly Giving:
This is the easiest way to support IYG. A monthly deduction provides IYG with consistency without a drain on your finances! You set the amount, the frequency, and the date and we’ll do the rest.

NAP credits:
IYG has received a grant from the state of Indiana through the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority. Donors over $100 can receive up to half of their donation in NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) credits. These credits can be taken directly off of the donor’s state tax liability. Click here for more information and the forms (Contributor Information , Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Application ) to receive NAP credits. These credits are limited and are distributed to our donors until they are gone.

Payroll Deduction giving:
You can designate IYG to be the recipient of your donation through United Way, the State Employee Community Campaign, and others. As of December of 2008, IYG is an affiliate of the United Way of Central Indiana!

Planned Giving:
Add Indiana Youth Group to your will or trust fund and ensure the continuation of services to LGBT youth. IYG can also be the recipient of your gift through life insurance policies, 401K or retirement funds, Keogh plans, or through property and stock. Please call IYG for more information or email us.

Sponsorship Opportunities
IYG holds three fundraising events each year.

IYG Annual Art Auction is held in mid-March The IYG Night to Share is held during pride week in June. The Indianapolis LGBT Film Festival is held in mid-November.

Each of these events needs sponsors and underwriters to offset costs and/or to provide needed services. Each of these events are widely marketed to the local LGBT and mainstream community providing great visibility for sponsors. Sponsorship levels range from $250 to $15,000 depending on the event and level. Contact IYG for more information on how your business can profit by associating with IYG!
