Welcome to the IYG activity center!
IYG's LGBTQ Youth Activity Center is located on the northeast side Indianapolis on the southwest corner of 46th and Binford. All youth ages 12 - 20 are welcome.
Hours:
Wednesday & Thursday from 3-9 PM
Friday from 3-11 PM.
You do not need a referral to come the IYG, you can just show up! Each night we have youth activities planned, you can find a list on our activity calendar, free dinner, and plenty of space for you to hang out, get on the computer, relax in the pit, read LGBT themed books in our library, meet new friends, and hang out!
It's sometimes a good thing to come for the first time on a Wednesday or Thursday. There's usually only 12 - 18 youth and it's a little less intimidating and easier to meet people. It's okay to come on Fridays, but it's not unusual for there to be 60 - 75 youth and can be a bit overwhelming. It may look like everyone knows each other except you, but that's really not the case! We just want you to feel welcome on your first visit...we want you to come back!
