September Staff Spotlight

This month, we are celebrating Rachel Falconer (she/her), our September Staff Spotlight Award winner! Rachel is our Center and Youth Supervisor, and she has been with us since April of 2022. She first became aware of IYG through her work at the Indiana Department of Child Services. She was intrigued by the work being done to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ youth, and she wanted to be a part of it to advocate for the youth and assist in the growth of the organization. "The best part about working for IYG," Rachel said, "is helping to build confidence and inspire change so the youth can live independent and empowered lives." Rachel holds a bachelor's degree in social work from Ball State University, where she also minored in interpersonal relationships and childhood development. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and connecting with her Kappa Delta sisters.
